YAY it's Friday!!!
I feel like a broken record when I say I am so happy it is Friday because it has been a LONG week... but it was another loooooong week for me.
On Monday the place I work for announced company wide lay offs. They are closing our office. As of June 30, I will no longer have a job. YIKES. Scary stuff. But I am trying not to stress and keep telling myself it will all work out. I know it will!
So enough about me and my pity party- its time for
Five Fabulous Finds!
Seeing as Mother's Day is on Sunday, I thought it would be good to feature all Mother's Day related finds. That way, if you still need a gift, instead of running around like a chicken with it's head cut off, you can simply look here for an idea :) {I know, I am so helpful! lol}
Maria-Isabel over at Agape Love Designs made this adorable Bird's Nest necklace AND she gives you a tutorial on how to make one- and it is much easier than I thought it would be!
Holly at 504 Main made this adorable Burlap and Canvas Family Heirloom Wreath and she also gives you a tutorial on how to make one! I love the lace and burlap together!!
Mindie at Bacon Time With The Hungry Hungry Hippo (LOL- love the blog name!) made one of the sweetest things I have seen. Everyone has seen the fabric rosette necklaces, but she made hers with old baby clothes that had been outgrown/stained! I love that it has such sentimental value!
If you are in need of a super quick gift, Krista at While He Was Napping has this printable for you on her blog! I LOVE this saying!!!
The last Mother's Day idea I am going to share is another printable. These are quick and easy and cute, and perfect for last minute gifts!
Angela at A Momma's Two Cents Worth has this cute saying available in a printable in two different styles!
{ain't that the truth! Us moms ARE superheros if you ask me!}
I hope everyone has a wonderful Mother's Day weekend!
And to all you Mother's out there-
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!!!
Being a mom is both the hardest and most rewarding job there is!
Kelly thank you for featuring my necklace. It is very special to me. I made one for my boys grandma too using a onsie that both my boys had worn at one point in time. They are far apart in age, 8 and 2. I have been following your blog for a while now and just love it. Super happy to be featured again. Thanks. I am going to grab your button for my blog now, I thought I already had it but don't.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for featuring my necklace! You are too kind. I will be adding this to my featured page! :) Thanks again!
