I LOVE these soft baby blocks that Ali at Away We Grow made! Aren't they adorable! I love the fabric! So bright and fun!

Chameleon Girls made this awesome Hogwarts cake! Seriously- SO COOL!!!!



Julie at The Farm Girl made this delicious looking grilled pizza! I recently discovered grilled pizza and it is so yummy!

Miranda at Life In The Motherhood shows how to make this awesome night bowling game!

Michelle at Green Acres Hobby Farm shows how to make a failed strawberry picking trip into a fun new adventure! What a great idea!!!

Happy Friday!

I have sewing on the brain this week since I finally got a sewing machine for my birthday!

How cute and creative is this Monster Tooth Pillow over at The Crunchy Mamacita?! LOVE this!

This Brown Maxi Skirt from Show Tell Share looks so comfy!  And not too tricky to make... wonder if I could manage? Hmmm

I love how Michelle from Polka Dots and Pizza dressed up these simple onsies!  These would make a great baby shower gift!

Michelle at Loving Every Second made these adorable Flag Shirts! I know the 4th has passed, but they would still be cute for Labor Day! And I like how she admits she is not a seamstress...makes me feel like even *I* might be able to do this one! lol

Vixen over at Vixen Made created these adorable capes for her little boys out of dad's old T-shirts! So cute!!!

Five Fabulous Finds #17

OK, I am back! :)

I just needed some time to figure out a new schedule now that I am home. I am trying to get the girls to take a nap at the same time, but it doesn't always work out! But, we are working things out and getting into a new routine!

I want to say THANK YOU to all who sent me such lovely messages. I really appreciated each and every one of them. They made me smile and that is just what I needed!

OK- enough of the mushy stuff- on to the good stuff!

I personally LOVE to give hand made gifts to friends. For wedding and baby showers I will typically get an item off the registry and then add something hand made. So this Wedding gift that Erin at Creating and Teaching made caught my eye. I LOVE it!

I love this tutorial for an awning that Dacia and Chelsea at Creative Mommas made! So cute and would really add a nice tough to any party table display!

Natalie at Beach House in the City took this garage sale picture frame and turned it into an amazing photo prop! LOVE!!!!

Melanie at Ewehoo made this adorable wine cork art peice. The part I love the most? She had written on certain corks the date and event it was from! Genious!!

I have Owls on my brain since I am in the midst of planning my little ones first birthday party- Owl Theme. So this post by Lindsy at Preschool Alphabet caught my eye! A whole post with owl activies! Hmm... giving me some ideas! :)

It is actually my 30th birthday on Monday {Eeek! I am not going to be in my 20's anymore!!!} so we are having a Minute To Win It theme party Saturday night to celebrate! Should be a blast! I will have pictures to share from that next week!

Here are my finds from this week!

 

Laura Beth over at A Step In The Journey made these cute ruffled hand towels. These are so on my to-do list if I get a sewing machine!

I don't know about you, but I love salad. Especially in the summer. So when I saw this Buffalo Chicken Salad that Amy at Happy Little Party made I was drooling! Looks delish!

And if you eat a salad for lunch you won't feel guilty about eating cupcakes with this yummy German Chocolate Frosting on them!  Amanda Joy at Joy In The Jumble shares the recipe to make this delicious frosting!

This Ice Cream Party from The Pike Fam is so cute! LOVE the cake!  It makes me want to throw an ice cream party just for fun! Hmmm... might have to do that this summer!

And since it is the 4th of July this weekend, I am leaving you with these super cute Firework Cupcakes!  Sheryl from Lady Behind The Curtain tells you how to make these! How fun would it be to walk into a BBQ carrying these? SO cute!!

Five Fabulous Finds #15

I can happily say it is FINALLY starting to feel like summer here in So Cal!

We have had the typical June Gloom for the past few weeks, but this week it has been sunny and warm! Woot! I love me some summer!

To celebrate the warmer weather- we are going to the lake with some friends this weekend and I am SO excited. Seriously. I am ready for some sun... and my white legs need some color!

Soooo... keeping with my mood about the weather- I am featuring Summer related things this week! So kick back, grab some lemonade and visit these amazing blogs!

First up... a LEMONADE STAND PARTY! Mariah at Giggles Galore put together this AH-Dorable party! Seriously, go check it out. It is making me want to change the theme for Miss Sadie's first birthday party in August (currently lined up to be owl themed...) I love it that much. SO CUTE.

Tahnie at A Happy Girl made this festive Summer Wreath inspired by one she saw on Pinterest. I actually saw this same wreath and pinned it as well! I love it! {Psst... I am on Pinterest if anyone wants to follow along here!}

Lila at Sweet and Lovely Crafts made this Summer Bucket List and geared it more towrds younger kids {PERFECT for me!}  AND she even has the PDF you can download! Awesome!

 

Another idea I found on Pinterest {Isn't that place GREAT!}. Sky at Capital B made this gorgeous Patriotic Wreath. I LOVE the way it turned out! Stunning!!

Watermelon just screams summer to me and I love this Watermelon Pops that Phaedra at Phaedra's Adventures made!

This week I had a really hard time narrowing my list down to 5 projects. There were so many awesome ideas out there this week!

Jamie at The Creative Imperative made this stunning Yarn Flag Wreath!  I love that it is simple, yet makes such a statement! Gorgeous!

 

Rachel at Sun Scholars seriously impresses me week after week! If you are not following along with her yet, you *really* should!  Just take a look at her Lemonade Stand Learning post! Amazing!

I am absolutely in LOVE with this decoration from Makoodle. Seriously. In.Love.  I *might* be stealing this idea.

Lisa at Grey Luster Girl gives a tutorial to make this stunning fabric flower! You won't believe how simple it is!

Heidi at Mom's Crafty Space made this gorgeous Mosaic Bird Bath and she gives a tutorial on how to do it! It would be a perfect summer project to do with your kiddos!

SO many awesome things out there this week! I found myself clicking on a lot of dessert items... seriously, I probably could have made this post entirely of fattening sweet yummy goodness.. but I decided since it was summer time, I should scale back some. So there are only a couple yummy goodies on here!

First up....  Felt So Cute jazzed up some store bought ice cream sandwiches! What a great idea!

Erin at Making Memories With Your Kids made this diet killing Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Torte. OMG.  Would you judge me if I licked the screen? This looks freakin amazing.

OK- I am done with destroying your diet... on to some more awesomeness that won't make your pants too tight!

Tanya at Greetings From the Asylum made the cutest Ruffle Bum Onsies... I have been wanting to make these for so long! Hopefully I will get that sewing machine I asked for and I can try these out!

Laura at Live.Laugh.Photograph made this super cute camera strap cover. I love the colors she used!





OK- I lied. I am posting one more yummy, full of fat, lick the plate clean, DELICIOUS looking dessert. Yum-O!  Vivienne at The V Spot shows you how to make Apples Malloy- you have to click over to check it out yourself.  You will thank me {or hate me because you gain 5 lbs after eating a plate of it}




Now- go run a couple miles to work off all this delicious food! LOL!

Tiff at Making the World Cuter had the FLIPPIN' cutest idea ever!!!  Seriously- genious! She used her stamp set {from Harbor Freight} to make these adorable Spatula Gift Sets!  Guess what I will be making soon?! YEP! LOVE this idea!!!

Chris over at Us and Them painted these adorable Time Out Stools! I have been saying for awhile now I need to make something like this for Sam! LOL! I LOVE how these turned out! And I emailed her about the file working with SCAL and she wrote me back super fast and made it so it would! AMAZING! {and THANK YOU!}

It's the end of the school year {my daughter's last day is next Thursday} so that means it is time for an end of the year gift for those awesome teachers! Angela over at Anything But Perfect has some adorable FREE printables and cute ideas for quick and easy gifts!





Chiara over at Calico and Cupcakes caught my eye with her lovely Owl themed baby shower!  See, I am about to jump right in to planning my little one's first birthday and it will be owl theme :)  So this party gave me some cute ideas! I am LOVING the dessert tree!!!





Sweet Little Smoothie has a great tutorial for making the cutest tiniest little felt flowers! This is a perfectly timed post for me because I just ordered a bunch of wool felt to make headbands and clips... I have a feeling some of these flowers might be made at my house this weekend!

OK, I L-O-V-E the blog She Wears Flowers. Have you been there yet? If not- GO! Tammy makes some of the coolest things ever. No joke. Look at this Wipes Case Laptop- I mean seriously, GENIUS!  And she even gave a tutorial so you can make one too! Awesome!

She had me with Vodka and Chocolate in the same sentence! LOL! Angela at Cargile Family Favorite Recipes made these delicious looking vodka infused chocolate covered strawberries! YUM!

Jo-Anna from A Pretty Life in The Suburbs made these delicious looking Antipasto Skewers!  Pretty sure these just got put on my list of what to make at the next BBQ we have!

Charity at Twincess Designs made this adorable Tooth Fairy Pillow! I will have to keep this in mind when Sam is older and starts loosing teeth! So cute!

I am on a crochet kick right now {did you see my baby shower gift?} so this next project totally caught my eye! I LOVE the bright colors Sue from Polliwogs in Bloom used to make these hats!
